Research software, in context
Specialist tools can be excellent at one stage. This comparison shows where each product is strongest and what changes when the entire study needs to remain connected.
Compare the workflow
Specialist tools can be excellent at the job they were designed for. SixSentences_ is different when the hand-offs matter: the paper you screened, the passage you verified, the dataset you analysed and the claim you write remain part of one record.
Connected research workspace
One project spanning literature, primary data collection, analysis, figures and the final manuscript.
Evidence workflows + research agent
Evidence search, PRISMA-oriented reviews and agent-led analysis across uploaded research files.
AI-native LaTeX authoring
Researchers primarily drafting, compiling and collaborating on a LaTeX manuscript.
Collaborative study screening
Review teams that need fast deduplication, blinded decisions and structured screening.
Systematic review management
Established review teams working in a mature, Cochrane-aligned process.

Elicit is a strong choice for large AI-assisted evidence workflows. Its new Research Agent can also analyse uploaded scientific files, create plots and generate images. That is a meaningful expansion, but it is not positioned as a survey or interview collection system, nor as a LaTeX manuscript editor.
Prism is purpose-built around collaborative LaTeX authoring. Rayyan and Covidence offer mature specialist processes for review teams. SixSentences_ is in closed beta: its advantage is connected breadth and study-wide provenance, not a claim that every module already replaces the deepest specialist workflow.
If your work stops at one stage, a specialist may be the better fit. If the costly part is moving context between stages, that is the problem SixSentences_ is built to solve.

Coverage totals are not like-for-like: OpenAlex's 317 million records span 19 work types, including articles, conference papers, books, datasets and theses. Elicit reports 138 million academic papers and conference proceedings in its own corpus. Neither number represents that many available full-text PDFs.
